Hazardous Location electronic horn produces a very loud, clear and distinctive electronic tone. This NEMA 4X rated horn is ideal for indoor or outdoor use.The Model 450EWBX features a 4 wire terminal block, and supervisory diode. This model is excellent for general alarm, fire alarm, start/dismissal, coded paging and process control signaling in areas where their sound output exceeds ambient noise levels. Compact size and a variety of installation options make them ideal for industrial use. This hazardous location rated/certified horn is intended for use in potentially electrically classified hazardous atmospheres. Applications for this product are found in the oil and gas, and petrochemical industries, where moderately high decibel horn signals are required.Two mounting brackets are provided on either side of the unit for wall mounting. The housing is tapped on three sides for 1/2" NPT to allow for field wiring installation. For use in hazardous atmospheres where a distinctive, urgent signal is required for timing, scheduling, paging and general alarm applications. Typical applications include use in mines, petroleum plants, gas plants, grain elevators, flour mills, paper mills, textile plants and tankers, as well as many others.
