The CDT countdown timer with Strobe is designed to count down from a preset time and once the time has reached the zero time point, it closes an internal relay switch that switches operating power (120 Vac) to trigger the attached strobe light. An optional horn can be added as well--select when ordering. The resulting alarm signal brings attention to the timer having counted down from a preset cycle time and has reached zero thus alerting employees to reset the cycle, or remove material from a timed manufacturing process, or remove components from curing ovens, etc..  The CDT allows the time period to be adjusted on its face plate (protective cover). The available "time range" is internally set and can be: 99.99 sec, 999.9 sec, 9999 sec, 99min 59 sec, 999.9 min, 99 hrs 59 min, 999.9 hrs, or 9999 hrs. When ordering please let us know what "time range" is needed and we can set a special range from those listed, otherwise our standard setting is 99 min, 59 sec. 

The unit is supplied with an On/Off switch that holds the current time position when turned to "Off" (used for breaks, pauses in production, etc.), a Reset pushbutton is also included to restart the set time cycle from the beginning. Standard programming is as a countdown timer, that reaches its predetermined time "zero" and begins to accumulate time as a negative, and also closes the internal relay contact switching 120 vac power to the strobe. Once the Reset pushbutton is pressed, the cycle starts over, and the strobe switched On by the relay switch will be turned off. A 120 Volt AC power cord of 6 foot length is included. DC Voltage unit available (please inquire). Custom versions are available, and may be added to signaling assemblies on our site--please inquire. Four Digit Display, characters are 3/8" tall--viewable from 20 feet. Contact (either N.C. or N.O.) is rated for 3 Amps at 250V.
