The latest version of the Model 1000 electronic heavy duty industrial audible alarm is designed to operate under adverse industrial conditions such as shock, vibration, or transient voltage surges. This model features an updated electronic design with a choice of 64 field selectable tones, in addition to producing up to 4 tones from 1 device (4 input/4 output- or-4 stage alarm). The alarm will sound 1 selected tone (Stage 1) when operating power is applied by a user provided switch. You may have up to 4 inputs to control up to 4 stages / tones from this single device. Full volume control is provided via an internal control dial. The alarm control enclosure is a surface mountable, ABS, Nema 4X housing to be drilled by user for wiring connections. It can provide up to four tones controlled by user supplied control contacts/switches. An economical, Marine Grade, ABS Plastic speaker is supplied unless you have upgraded to the aluminum speaker option (select when ordering). The speaker can be attached by the user to the alarm enclosure or mounted remotely simply by providing an 18awg twisted shielded jacketed speaker wire up to 100 feet long for installation flexibility. The alarm is capable of driving a single speaker, but multiple Model 1000 S2 devices and their related speaker can be controlled together for a system of multiple alarm devices for large area coverage.
