This Remote Alarm Station with Dual LED Lights and Horn provides a unique "high and low" or "Go and No GO" level alert communicated visually depending on the LED being activated. The horn is also capable of 2 stage alarm audibly--capable of 2 distinctly different sounds. Each signal--horn and 2 LEDs, are able to be powered independently allowing for the horn to be sounded and 1, or 2 or all of the signals to be activated. The horn produces sound electronically, eliminating some of the downsides of traditional vibrating type mechanical horns, such as short life span and duty cycles. Suitable for indoor / outdoor use. Application Note: LED Signaling lights do not lend themselves to long distance visibility in daylight / sunlight conditions--approximate viewing distance at eye level is 20-40 feet depending on ambient light conditions.
The Model GPH3 horn features a nonmetallic housing and has a volume control pot internally, 2 stage alarm choosing from 3 available tones, and dB output of 101dB measured at 10 feet.
The LEDs are high efficiency with solid state power supply., the light is sealed for the ultimate in protection from moisture. All units are polarity protected and have built-in filters to protect against radio interference and spike voltages. The LEDs are configured as listed here, for either a flashing or steady state when powered--i.e. Green Steady burn for normal condition and Red Flashing for abnormal condition, as an example. The Flash rate for the flashing version is 75 flashes per minute - each flash containing 7 rapid bursts of light (approximately 560ms “on-time” and 240 ms “off-time”).
Internal to the enclosure is a convenient 8 position terminal block for wiring. The enclosure housing has multiple knockouts for field wiring / installation. UL Listed components, 101 dBA output at 10 feet. 120 VAC and a 12/24Vdc optional version (select when ordering). Optional LED Color combinations as well as flashing and steady burn combinations can be selected below--other combinations and options available--please inquire. Also an optional internal audible silence circuit with external button can be selected below.
