This Remote Alarm Station with Dual LED Lights and Horn provides a unique "high and low" or "Go and No GO" level alert communicated visually depending on the LED being activated. The horn is also capable of 2 stage alarm audibly--capable of 2 distinctly different sounds. Each signal--horn and 2 LEDs, are able to be powered independently allowing for the horn to be sounded and 1, or 2 or all of the signals to be activated. The horn produces sound electronically, eliminating some of the downsides of traditional vibrating type mechanical horns, such as short life span and duty cycles. This model can be used either indoor or outdoors NEMA 4X, IP66. OUTDOOR use in direct sunlight applications will provide limited visibility as is the case with many of the LED light source visual signaling devices, however, where we would normally state approximately 50 foot visibility in direct sunlight outdoors, this model using the Clear outer lens option is visible from more than 100 feet when viewed on plane (at eye level). We offer a unique "Clear lens" option which adds an element of "change of state" so when the light is off the lens is clear color, but when turned On will now show the color of the LED lamp flashing--for instance the amber colored LED flashing within (see video example below). The Model GPH3 horn features a nonmetallic housing and has a volume control pot internally, 2 stage alarm choosing from 3 available tones, and dB output of 101dB measured at 10 feet.
The LEDs are high efficiency with solid state power supply, the lens is gasketed for the ultimate in protection from moisture. All units are polarity protected and have built-in filters to protect against radio interference and spike voltages. The LEDs are configured as listed here, for either a standard flash rate or a multi-flash fast rate when powered--i.e. Green Standard Flash for normal condition and Red Fast Flashing for abnormal condition, as an example. Some popular color combinations are selectable below when ordering--if you have a different need please contact us for options. The Flash rate for the standard flashing version is 75 flashes per minute and the fast flash is 130 flashes per minute of a triple flash pulse.
Internal to the enclosure is a convenient 8 position terminal block for wiring. The enclosure housing has multiple knockouts for field wiring / installation. UL Listed components, 101 dBA output at 10 feet. 120 VAC and a 12/24Vdc optional version (select when ordering). Optional LED Color combinations as well as standard flash or fast flash selected with an internal switch--other combinations and options available--please inquire.
